Hello, Planned Parenthood supporters!
My fellow Panthers for Planned Parenthood and I have been brainstorming like mad in an attempt to generate events to fill this semester. Unfortunately we've been rather unfruitful. We have plans to include our faculty and community liaisons in our efforts to better our chances of success. Though I have no concrete proof, I can assure you that great things are in the future!
In the meantime, we've been doing what we can to stay active. Stephanie and I attended the monthly meeting at Planned Parenthood that included many members from VOX (Voices for Planned Parenthood) at MSU. We discussed recent attacks on Planned Parenthood's supposed funding cuts and learned the truth behind the politics. Our manly men, Kevin and Sean, braved the Feminist Happy Hour at Farmer's Gastropub. They set up a table to offer information to and receive signed petitions from Springfield's feminists.
We will inform you as soon as we get plans in motion for some fantastic events this semester so hold on tight!
