hello everyone!
i hope you've had a great month! i've been super super busy with all kinds of things going on here around drury. it's been a crazy time with classes and extra curriculars. Not much has gone on planned parenthood wise. but there have been a few other fun events and also some upcoming ones that will definitely be exciting!
i was sad i had to miss the feminist happy hour, but i had two upper-classmen friends attend who said the event was great!
an event i'm really excited about that is coming up in april is student engagement week. it's not tied to planned parenthood, but it's an event summit park supports because it involves students getting engaged on campus. we are having a toms shoe event happy on monday, and tuesday-wednesday we will have successful drury alumni on campus. and thursday there will be a student activism chair-in outside of burnham hall to advocate for an elevator to be installed.
i spent 5 days in washington, dc and got to visit the democratic national convention and also the college democrat convention. while i was there i got to see some sights, the holocaust memorial, and also visit georgetown (grad school i want to go to).
